How IC Pizza Built a Tech-Driven Pizza Experience in Bahrain

What started as a simple idea to sell great pizza online has grown into one of Bahrain’s unique pizza concepts. Founded by Ali and his brother, IC Pizza was originally launched as a cloud kitchen in Galali during a period of roadworks, allowing the business to focus on online delivery instead of relying on walk-in customers. As demand grew, the team introduced a tech-driven pickup system where customers can order through their phones or in-store tablets, receive updates on their order, and collect their food without long queues or manual ordering. The goal has always been to make the experience as convenient and efficient as possible.

Quality is at the heart of IC Pizza’s menu. Their dough is cold-fermented for 48 hours to create a lighter crust, while every pizza is made with 100% dairy cheese and San Marzano tomatoes imported from Italy. The restaurant’s signature garlic crust, brushed with a blend of garlic, parsley, and oil, has also become a customer favourite. The founders spent nearly a year perfecting their recipes, even adjusting ingredients to better suit local tastes in Bahrain and the Gulf. Rather than expanding too quickly, IC Pizza is focused on growing at a steady pace while continuing to improve its products, technology, and customer experience, with plans to expand across Bahrain and eventually the GCC.
