Whether you’re visiting at a later date or now, it’s worth to check out Bahrain’s beautiful beach resorts. JUMEIRAH ROYAL SARAY

An exclusive beach resort with high standards and excellent service. At the ‘Al Hadiqa’ you can you relax and unwind by the private beach and poolside where can enjoy food and beverages in luxury. It’s the perfect place for a staycation to enjoy serenity and comfort. They also throw kickass beach parties every now and then including DJs and sometimes a saxophone player. Follow their Instagram to know when they have complimentary access for ladies during the weekday and stay up to date on the incredible beach parties they put on. A weekend day pass is 60 BD inclusive of 30 BD Food & Beverage credit.

ART ROTANA AMWAJ

Located in Amwaj Islands on Al Fanar Avenue Road is this modern luxury resort where access to the Beach Club is 15BD on a weekday and 25BD on a weekend. You can relax or party in the luxurious crustal clear blue secluded oceanfront and a lagoon that has 3 temperature-controlled pools, a kid’s waterpark, an outdoor sunset bar, and hot tub. Enjoy the mesmerizing panoramic view of the sea is and if water sport activities are your thing you can most definitely hop on a jet ski, get on a boat trip, paddleboard, surf, dive, sail, and much more! SOFITEL ZALLAQ THALASSA SEA & SPA

This absolutely gorgeous resort has incredible sea views overlooking the Arabian Gulf and Bahrain’s west coast and makes for a beautiful sunset sighting. Also included is an outdoor pool, a lagoon bar and a picnic area that’s surrounded by lush green gardens. The hotel decor is a blend of French and Arabic architecture and is a haven for a perfect getaway. A day pass is worth 20 BD on weekdays and 30 BD from Thursday to Saturday.

THE RITZ-CARLTON

A favorite spot in Bahrain for many, you’re always guaranteed a wonderful experience at the Ritz. Enjoy a luxurious weekend getaway by the infinity pool or cocktails by the beach at the sand bar or tide bar. You can also swim with the flamingos at the pond! The perfect city escape found here at this island beach resort where a day pass is 25 BD and 50 BD on Fridays and Saturdays. Side note, the tide bar is open to the public after 7 PM without a day pass purchase.

Newly opened Solymar Beach is the new private beach in town. Located in Amwaj Marina and open from 10 am to 12 am daily, this beautiful spot is 10 BD for entrance fee on weekdays and 15 BD on weekends which includes a sunbed and towel service. Food and alcohol are served so you can enjoy while you soak up the sun.

THE GROVE RESORT

A perfect stretch of sands at this resort based in Lulu, Amwaj where the waters are crystal clear and bright blue. A day pass is 15 BD any day of the week which is a steal of a deal considering this is a luxury private beach with exceptional service. It is VERY family-friendly and they don’t serve alcohol but they can make any refreshing mocktail to enjoy while laying under the sun or swimming in the beach. Come here for the sports activities, boat trips, and a game of beach volley. They also offer swimming lessons!

LAGOONA BEACH

This spacious resort not only has a beautiful private beach, but it also has a secluded island built across from the shore that is accessible by boat and allows guests to enjoy the surrounding water in privacy. There’s also a ladies beach, a few pools to relax beside, tons of water sports activities, and a restaurant overlooking the water. No alcohol is served at the resort and it is family-friendly. A day pass is 25BD all week.

NOVOTEL AL DANA RESORT

Located at 121 Sheikh Hamad Causeway, the House Club includes a beach that is tucked away from the rest of the sea to create a more private atmosphere where guests can relax and enjoy the Manama skyline view. It’s the ultimate private getaway with very chill vibes. The hotel hugs the area from both ends so you can also enjoy the view from a hotel balcony. Also featured is a beautiful pool where you can enjoy drinks and food from the hotel restaurant. A day pass to use the beach and pool is 10BD and 5BD for children.

CORAL BAY

One one of original beach resorts in Bahrain that’s been hosting events for years. Go for the mix of people, the live DJ events, and for the sports activities. Enjoy the gorgeous Arabian Gulf beach and the cooling pool that’s got a pool bar you could swim to and indulge in some delicious food by the poolside. A day pass on a weekday is 8 BD and 10 BD on the weekend.
