Savor an Unforgettable Dining Experience at Ninive, Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain

Tucked within the gardens of Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain, a new dining destination has arrived that reimagines what an evening out in the Kingdom can feel like. Ninive brings with it a bold reinterpretation of Middle Eastern hospitality. The name itself is a nod to Nineveh, one of antiquity’s great cities and, by some accounts, the true home of the legendary Hanging Gardens. That heritage isn’t just a talking point, it shapes the restaurant’s entire identity as a “contemporary majlis,” a space designed for gathering, storytelling, and shared hospitality in the spirit of the region’s oldest traditions.

Designed by Pirajean Lees, the interior layers time-worn wood, antique brass, Zellige tiles, and cuneiform-inspired motifs into a setting that feels both ancient and thoroughly modern.

Ninive’s à la carte menu draws from the culinary traditions of the Middle East, the Levant, and North Africa.

Ninive is open Tuesday through Sunday (closed Mondays)
