A Fire Broke Out in a Building in Al Louzi in Bahrain on May 11

Civil defense teams responded swiftly to a fire in an eight-story residential building in the Al Lozi area. The fire was extinguished within 9 minutes of the initial report.

Tragically, the fire resulted in the deaths of 4 people, including a man, a child, and two women. Thanks to the response of civil defense personnel, 20 residents were successfully rescued. The National Ambulance Service provided immediate medical attention at the scene. All rescued residents are reported to be in stable condition.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense deployed 7 fire vehicles and 48 officers upon receiving the emergency call. Firefighters effectively contained the blaze and are currently conducting cooling operations to prevent re-ignition.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
