Heads Up: Bahrain Warns About Fraudsters Posing as Banks and Government Agencies

Scammers in Bahrain are impersonating government agencies and banks to trick people into sharing their screens or downloading remote support apps. While these requests may seem harmless, fraudsters use them to access verification codes and other sensitive information. Authorities are urging the public not to share their screens or allow unknown individuals access to their devices. Instead, only deal with official channels and avoid any requests to install support apps or share your screen, as they are often attempts to steal your personal information or money.

Stay alert, use only official channels, and never share your screen with someone you don’t know.
