HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King’s representative for youth affairs, met with a cool group of young entrepreneurs from the Beban Juniors program! This program is run by Hope Ventures, the investment arm of the Hope Fund. Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who heads up a bunch of youth and sports organizations, was also there.
The reception included 22 amazing young business minds, between ages six and 17! These go-getters had ideas for everything from yummy food to stylish fashion, plus awesome tech and eco-friendly projects.
At the event, each young entrepreneur got to show off their business idea and explain what sparked their interest. They also talked about their experience in the Beban Juniors program. The program even connected them with some judges who could offer advice and help them take their ideas to the next level. “Beban.me” was another perk! This platform lets them test their ideas with real people and raise funds from their own networks.
Shaikh Nasser gave these young innovators a big thumbs up, letting them know he believes in their potential and will support their efforts. He emphasized the importance of staying curious and always wanting to learn more, because that’s what keeps the entrepreneurial spirit alive. He was clearly impressed by their hard work and encouraged them to keep chasing their dreams.
Ayman Al Moayyed, the head of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, also spoke at the event. He highlighted how important it is to give Bahrain’s talented young people the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
