stc pay Bahrain has launched stc pay Secure Approve, a new feature designed to make online card payments more secure and easier to verify. Instead of receiving a one-time password (OTP) by SMS or email, customers can now review and approve or reject transactions directly through the stc pay app. The feature shows key payment details, including the merchant name and transaction amount, allowing customers to check the transaction before approving it. stc pay Secure Approve is automatically available to all customers when they make their first online purchase using an stc pay card. No registration or additional steps are required.
The new feature aims to provide an added layer of protection against risks such as phishing, fraud and SIM-swap attacks, while giving customers more control over their online payments.
