Over 557,000 Visitors Explored Bahrain’s Cultural and Heritage Sites in 2026

Bahrain’s cultural and heritage sites attracted more than 557,000 visitors between January and May 2026, according to data from the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities. A total of 557,154 people visited museums, heritage sites and cultural centers across the Kingdom during the five-month period. The figures reflect Bahrain’s growing popularity as a destination that offers both historical and cultural experiences. During April alone, cultural and heritage sites welcomed 40,451 visitors.

Bahrain Fort was the most visited attraction, drawing 35,096 visitors in April and accounting for nearly 87% of all cultural site visits that month. The strong turnout highlights continued interest in Bahrain’s rich heritage and cultural attractions, which play an important role in the Kingdom’s tourism sector.

Bahrain’s cultural landmarks continue to attract visitors from across the Kingdom and beyond, showcasing the nation’s rich heritage and vibrant cultural scene.
