The Labour Fund (Tamkeen) has launched two new programmes, Tamakkan and Qiyada, to help Bahrainis develop their skills and prepare for leadership roles in the private sector. The programmes aim to equip participants with professional, technical, and leadership skills that match the needs of the labour market while creating more opportunities for career growth. Through Tamakkan, Tamkeen will cover 100% of training costs for jobseekers, up to the programme’s support limits. Employed individuals can receive 70% support, while businesses can receive 50% support for employee training. The programme also includes an approved list of professional certifications, which will be regularly updated to meet changing market demands.
The new programmes are part of Tamkeen’s efforts to help more Bahrainis build successful careers and step into future leadership roles.
