Bahrain’s Dragon Boat Racing Festival just started and you should sign up to compete because it’s fun and a good way to get some exercise!
If you enjoy water sports or want to meet people and do something fun with your friends you should head to Water Garden City anytime from now until the 13th of November, where the competition is every hour from 2 PM – 7 PM. The festival hosted by The Game, a Bahrain sports magazine is the 1st ASEAN Dragonboat Racing Festival in Bahrain. The competition encourages you to create a team and race for 20 BD with a free practice session. You can even join the fun by supporting from the shore so you don’t need to compete to be part of the fun!

Dragonboat racing is a Chinese tradition in which a group of 12 paddle and work in a team to move forward and compete with others to cross the finish line.
