Bahraini Humanitarian Aid Shipment Reaches El Arish International Airport for Gaza

We’ve got an update on the humanitarian front! Following the incredible directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the lead of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the first shipment of much-needed relief aid from Bahrain has officially arrived in Egypt to be sent to Gaza!

The shipment, which made its way to the El Arish International Airport in Egypt, was handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent. Their mission? To ensure that this cargo reaches its destination in Gaza. It will be distributed by the Palestine Red Crescent Society to hospitals and the Palestinian people.

Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, the Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), praised the wise directives of HM the King and the unwavering support of the government. Led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. And HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad for his outstanding leadership in the RHF’s humanitarian endeavors.

With a total weight of 40 tonnes, it includes essential medical supplies, food, and other relief materials that will help meet their basic needs during these challenging times. The Bahrain National Committee for Supporting the Palestinians in Gaza is committed to launching more initiatives and ramping up its efforts to support our Palestinian brothers and sisters.

Dr. Rami Jameel Al Nadher, the CEO of the Egyptian Red Crescent, appreciated HM King Hamad’s directives, highlighting his reputation for always extending a helping hand to those in need.
