Bahrain Condemns Israeli Attacks on Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza and Calls for Urgent International Action

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its condemnation and strong disapproval of the Israeli airstrikes on Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the Gaza Strip. Which resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of innocent civilians. The ministry extended its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the Palestinian people.

The ministry reiterated Bahrain’s call to the international community for urgent intervention to halt the firing of rockets in the Gaza Strip. Ensuring the respect of international humanitarian law in securing hospitals, residences, and civilian infrastructure, as well as protecting civilians. It also called for the urgent opening of humanitarian corridors. To facilitate the entry of medical aid, relief supplies, food, water, electricity, and fuel into the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed Bahrain’s support for any regional or international efforts that contribute to de-escalation, cessation of violence, and the revival of a just and comprehensive peace process in the Middle East. This process should guarantee the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. By the two-state solution, the Arab Peace Initiative, and international legitimacy resolutions.
