Bahrain Is Organizing The Island’s First-Ever Virtual Race In September

Get your sneakers on because a unique race experience is starting in Bahrain next month! Bahrain’s first ever virtual race is an exciting idea which combines technology to bring people “together apart”

The race is held under the patronage of H.E. Aymen AlMoayed, Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs and organized by Obai and Hill, the idea is that anyone can participate by downloading the Strava app, registering, turn on the GPS the day of and go out for a run!

The app also allows anyone participating to join challenges and share photos of their run.

“Due to the social distancing measures’ taken by the government to tackle the current Covid-19 situation, participants will not be able to run in large groups. This race enables people to all run at the same time, but at the comfort of the location that they choose”

Together Apart Race

You can feel like a true racer with the kit sent to your home which includes a medal, bib, snacks, and a water rumbler!

If you’re interested in participating, you should hurry because registration ends on the 19th of August.
