Bahrain’s MOI Encourages Citizens & Residents to Activate Notifications on BeAware, Tawasul & eTraffic Apps

The Interior Ministry is urging citizens and residents to activate the notification feature on the BeAware, Tawasul, and eTraffic apps for receiving civil defence instructions.

Interior Minister General Sh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa visited the General Directorate of Civil Defence. And praised their role in safeguarding lives and property. He emphasized the importance of periodic procedure reviews and reinforcing precautionary measures. The Minister inspected the new civil defence fleet, equipped with advanced technology to enhance security and safety. The Director-General of Civil Defence highlighted their active role in the volunteering project and dealing with disasters. The Minister launched the National Civil Protection Platform, aimed at enhancing public safety and promoting a security culture through modern technologies. Additionally, the Volunteering Project for Civil Defence was announced to enhance preventive awareness and community partnership.
