Bahrain’s NPRA Introduces Convenient Online Service for Lost or Damaged Passport

In a move towards enhanced citizen services, the Nationality, Passports, and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has unveiled a user-friendly online platform for citizens within Bahrain! The platform is to easily request the issuance of lost or damaged passports. This latest initiative, accessible through the government portal Bahrain.bh, aims to streamline and modernize the passport replacement process.

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, NPRA Undersecretary, emphasized the simplicity of the new service. Citizens can input their details and upload necessary documents seamlessly. Once the application is submitted, applicants can expect a virtual call to finalize the issuance process and proceed with online payment.

The convenience doesn’t end there – citizens can collect their newly issued passports at any NPRA service center. This innovative approach not only simplifies the passport replacement journey but also reflects NPRA’s commitment to leveraging technology for the benefit of Bahrain’s citizens.
