Bahrain’s Second Relief Aid Shipment for Gaza Arrives at El Arish Airport in Egypt

The second shipment of aid from Bahrain to Gaza has arrived at El Arish International Airport in Egypt. The aid will be handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent! And will then pass it on to the Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza for distribution to hospitals. This humanitarian effort has received strong support from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Who leads the RFH in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The second shipment consists of 40 tonnes of medical supplies, food, and relief materials. These items aim to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians affected by the ongoing Gaza war. Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed, Secretary General of RHF and Chief Executive of the National Committee for Supporting the Palestinians in Gaza, announced that future aid shipments will be sent from Egypt, with trucks transporting materials directly from Cairo to Rafah crossing.

The Bahraini National Committee for Supporting the Palestinian People in Gaza has also discussed post-aid measures. And plans for health, education, and livelihood development projects. As part of Gaza’s reconstruction efforts, they have agreed to build a field hospital and residential complex. Along with other developmental initiatives.
