Another huge milestone
The Ministry of Health just announced that The Kingdom of Bahrain has now crossed the 1 million mark for the first dose of COVID-19 vaccinations, which means that 80% of the eligible population are now more protected against the coronavirus!
After seeing a surge in cases towards the end of May, the island set tougher measures to curb the spread of the disease, along with ramping up vaccination capacities. The Pfizer vaccine has also been made available to children aged 12 -15, which significantly reduces the spread of the disease and offers protection to the young as well.
Thanks to these measures and the efforts of the local population, we’re one huge step closer to winning the battle against the pandemic, which has taken the world by storm since November 2019.

في خبر سار: البحرين تعبر حاجز المليون جرعة أولى من التطعيم
أعلنت وزارة الصحة للتو بأن مملكة البحرين تجاوزت حاجز المليون جرعة أولى من تطعيم كوفيد-١٩. مما يعني أن ٨٠٪ من السكان المستحقين هم الأن أكثر حماية ضد الفيروس.
وبعد أن شهدت المملكة طفرة في عدد الحالات المصابة بالفيروس خلال نهاية شهر مايو الماضي، اتخذت تدابير أكثر صرامة لكبح انتشار الفيروس، وبالإضافة إلى رفع إمكانيات التطعيم يومياً. كما أتيح لقاح فايزر للأطفال في سن ١٢-١٥، مما يؤدي إلى حمايتهم وتقليل انتشار الفيروس بنسبة كبيرة أيضاً.
وقد اقتربنا لخطوة كبيرة من الفوز في تصدي هذا الوباء الذي انتشر في العالم منذ نوفمبر ٢٠١٩ بفضل هذه الجهود الجبارة وجهود السكان المشكورة.
