Henley’s Latest Passport Index Is Here and Bahrain Ranks 4th Strongest in the GCC

Bahrain’s passport has secured an impressive ranking as the 4th most powerful passport in the GCC, according to the latest edition of the Henley Passport Index. The index, which is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority, revealed that Gulf Cooperation Council member countries have the most powerful passports in the Arab world.

The United Arab Emirates has the most powerful passport in the Arab world, ranked joint 12th with Cyprus among 199 passports worldwide. Following the UAE, Qatar was ranked 52nd, Kuwait joint 54th, Bahrain joint 59th, Oman 60th, and Saudi Arabia joint 61st among the GCC states.

Bahrain’s impressive ranking is a testament to the country’s continuous efforts to enhance its international relationships and strengthen its global presence. With visa-free access to over 160 destinations worldwide, Bahrain passport holders can enjoy the freedom to travel to a wide range of destinations with ease.
