Iftar cannon is fired every year in the Kingdom. In order to alert people that it is time for Iftar, the Iftar Cannon, “Madfa Al Iftar”, is used. These cannons were used long before the technology of today was invented. We love our customs and this tradition has its own nostalgic value!
