HM King Hamad Attended The Opening of Mara’ee 2023 Yesterday

The Bahrain Animal Production Show (Mara’ee 2023) was off to an epic start under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the Bahrain International Endurance Village.

The attendance included Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak, the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister, along with other top officials.

In his speech, the minister thanked HM the King for supporting Mara’ee 2023. He mentioned how this exhibition puts Bahrain on the map when it comes to agricultural and animal production.

After some cool performances, HM the King took center stage to hand out awards to the winners of various competitions. Arabian hounds, horses, camels, pigeons, and cattle – they all got their moment in the spotlight.

HM the King expressed his unwavering support for the livestock and agricultural sector. He knows it’s crucial for Bahrain’s development, food security, and sustainability. He even gave a shoutout to the government’s plans and projects led by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, all aimed at enhancing food security and the food industry.

The event was a massive success, thanks to the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture and the Royal Guard. With local companies showcasing their goods and a whole bunch of cultural and educational activities, Mara’ee 2023 truly highlighted the best of Bahrain’s agricultural and animal production scene.
