HM King Hamad Performed Afternoon Prayers Yesterday at Sakhir Palace Mosque Marking the Prophet’s Birthday

Yesterday afternoon, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, along with other members of the Royal Family, scholars, and attendees, got together at Sakhir Palace mosque to pray. It was a special occasion as they were commemorating the Prophet’s Birthday.

Dr. Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri, the Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, delivered a sermon focusing on the life and virtues of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He prayed for His Majesty’s well-being and asked for Allah’s blessings upon the Kingdom of Bahrain. They also extended their prayers to the brave men and women serving in Bahrain’s military, particularly those who lost their lives during the Arab Coalition’s operations Decisive Storm and Restoring Hope.

To show his appreciation, Dr. Al Hajeri presented HM the King with a copy of his book, which showcases the mosques of the Kingdom of Bahrain built during HM the King’s leadership. It was a thoughtful gesture, acknowledging the significant contributions of HM to the country.

HM King Hamad further emphasized Bahrain’s role as a hub for pluralism, cultural convergence, and religious coexistence!
