Power Play! Bahrain’s Investcorp Offers €1.3 Billion to Buy Inter Milan From Suning

According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, Bahrain’s InvestCorp has made an offer of €1.3 billion to buy Inter Milan from current owners Suning. The owners of Inter Milan have been exploring potential buyers with the help of investment banks Goldman Sachs and Raine Group.

This offer would meet Suning’s valuation of the club and surpass the €1.2 billion that RedBird paid for AC Milan. Suning has been holding out for an offer above €1 billion. And a bid of €1.3 billion might just sway them to sell.

InvestCorp, based in Bahrain with significant investments from Saudi Arabia, has been eyeing Inter Milan for a while. They previously attempted to purchase Milan but were outbid by RedBird.

However, Tuttosport also mentions that Suning may not necessarily be inclined to sell, even with such a tempting offer on the table.
