Learn About Al-Naqda Art at This Workshop in Bahrain During the First Weekend of 2022

The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities has organized a workshop at Al Jasra Handicrafts Center during the first weekend of 2022. For all of your who have productive resolutions for the new year, this is the time to start working on them! Learn all about Al-Naqda Art and the techniques on the 8th of January.

Al Naqda art is part of old Bahraini traditional heritage. In older times, women’s clothing was embroidered by hand with real silver thread using a special needle called Al Naqda. Today, women use the same technique for modern products, such as accessories.

The workshop is scheduled for the 8th of January from 10 am to 12 pm at Al Jasra Handicrafts Center.
