Shining Bright! Our Manama Is the Gulf Tourism Capital for 2024

Manama is celebrating a prestigious honor! Our beautiful capital city has been chosen as the Gulf Tourism Capital for 2024. This exciting designation, unveiled by Bahrain’s Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, recognizes Bahrain’s significant contributions to tourism in the entire Arabian Gulf region.

Get ready for a year of amazing events! The Ministry of Tourism, the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), and our fantastic private-sector tourism partners have joined forces to create a year-long calendar packed with tourism and entertainment options. There’s something for everyone, and it’s all designed to attract even more visitors to experience the wonders of Bahrain.

This recognition is a huge accomplishment for Bahrain. It shows the world that we’re a leader in Gulf tourism and that our commitment to sustainable development and economic growth is paying off.

We’re especially proud of the collaborative effort between the Ministry of Tourism, BTEA, and our private sector partners. Together, we’re showcasing the best of Bahrain and creating a truly unique opportunity for regional tourism. Visitors from neighboring GCC countries can expect special tourism packages designed just for them.

Manama being chosen as the Gulf Tourism Capital is more than just an honor – it’s a chance to shine a spotlight on all that Bahrain has to offer. We’re excited to welcome visitors throughout the year and show them why Bahrain is a must-visit destination!
