A proud moment for Radio Bahrain 96.5, indeed! The NFT launched by the Kingdom’s leading radio channel is among the first in the radio industry to create its own NFT. The limited-edition NFT was created by Bahraini artist Leena Al Ayoobi and displayed at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain during the NFT MENA EXHIBIT 2022.
Reportedly, 450 exhibition visitors picked up the complimentary Radio Bahrain NFT at the event. The CEO of the radio company, Omar Khalifa Shaheen has stated in reports that the initiative is part of the station’s digital strategy to enhance its presence in the digital world. And the company is planning NFT based concerts, events, and shows as part of this initiative!
