Calling all Bahraini media talents! Get ready for the “Media Talents Award 2023” by the Ministry of Information, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla AlNoaimi. It aims to showcase young Bahraini media talents and empower them to create professional media productions.
With a vision to advance multimedia production and support Bahraini media professionals, the Ministry is set to nurture and polish the skills of these talented individuals.
The Media Talents Award 2023, organized in partnership with “Tamkeen,” highlights media talents in presenting and producing, enriching audio and visual production, and integrating them into the national and international media market. This year’s focus is on Presenting and Producing Variety Radio and Television Shows, with competitions held in both Arabic and English.
The comprehensive program covers media professions, ethics, producing, presenting, field reporting, language skills, radio and television dialogue, and creating engaging social media content. To be eligible, applicants must be aged between 18-35, have no prior experience in presenting radio or television shows, and pass the preliminary evaluation and Judging Panel interviews. Applications are open from September 17th to September 30th, 2023. A Judging Panel will select thirty deserving applicants for an intensive eight-week training program led by industry professionals. The journey concludes with a final project, and winners will be announced in December 2023.
