Local design firm Limefish Design just became the first company in Bahrain to officially move to a 4 day workweek! It’s a move that’s been highly anticipated world over after the pandemic brought to light severe issues with work-life balance in corporations worldwide.
CEO Yonis Attiya confirmed that the decision will not only help his team have a healthy work-life balance, it’s also expected to actually boost productivity! Who else is super jealous about this? We know we are! It’s the start of a new age in Bahrain, and the rest of the world. Recently, Iceland and Japan also found overwhelmingly positive results when switching to 4 day workweeks.

“لايمفش ديزاين” تعتمد سياسة 4 أيام عمل فقط أسبوعياً
أصبحت للتو شركة التصميم المحلي “لايمفش ديزاين” أول شركة في البحرين تعتمد رسمياً 4 أيام عمل في الأسبوع. كانت هذه أحد الخطوات المتوقعة عالمياً بعد أن كشف الوباء هذه القضايا في التوازن بين العمل والحياة في الشركات حول العالم أجمع.
وأكد الرئيس التنفيذي يونس عطية أن القرار لن يساعد فريقه على تحقيق توازن صحي بين العمل والحياة فحسب، بل إنه من المتوقع أن يعزز الإنتاجية بالفعل. وإن هذه الخطوة هي بداية عصر جديد في البحرين، وبقية العالم. وفي الآونة الأخيرة، وجدت أيسلندا واليابان أيضا نتائج إيجابية إلى حد كبير عند تغيير أيام العمل إلى 4 أيام.
