Get Into the Spirit of Giving During the Month of Ramadan With This Local Charity

Ramadan is all about giving

And this local charity is reminding us once again that it’s important to “conserve bounties”. Hefth Al Naema Society or Bahrain Food Bank is open from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM during the month of Ramadan. So, call their hotline – 33499499 and they will be at your doorstep to collect all your excess food!

The local NGO runs a popular initiative in the Kingdom where they take consumable leftovers from hotels, banquets, and private events to donate to families in need. Whether you’re hosting a gathering at a big venue or ordering food online to dine as a family at home, make sure your leftovers don’t go to waste.

This Holy month, the NGO is also partnering with different businesses around the Kingdom to make a difference!

Talabat

You can donate meals and water directly through the Talabat App and help them reach their target of feeding 800 meals every day to support 214 families.

Doobi

The laundry service app has partnered with Bahrain Food Bank to donate 1 iftar meal for every order received on the Doobi App.

Vatel Bahrain – International Hospitality School

Vatel Bahrain is collecting dry fruits and food from their staff and students which is then delivered to Bahrain Food Bank by Vatel’s volunteers.

Keep an eye out for other ways you can contribute this Ramadan with Bahrain Food Bank and make sure to minimize food wastage this Ramadan!

Have a blessed month!
