The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has launched an upgraded digital service for issuing worker supply agency licenses as part of Bahrain’s government digital transformation efforts. The updated service allows licensed agencies to supply workers to third parties for a limited time or specific tasks. The process is now completed in two stages: initial approval and final license issuance. According to the LMRA, processing time has been reduced from 20 working days to 15 days, while application steps have been simplified to a maximum of four.
The authority also said service efficiency improved by at least 25 percent. Officials stated that the new system aims to simplify procedures, improve customer experience, and reduce time and effort for businesses operating in Bahrain.
The move reflects Bahrain’s continued efforts to modernize and improve government services through digital transformation.
