Bahrain will host the BWF Para Badminton World Championships 2026 in Manama from 7 to 14 February, under the patronage of HH Sh Khaled. The hosting agreement was signed by Shaikh Mohammed bin Duaij Al Khalifa and Khunying Patama Leeswadtrakul, marking the first time this event will be held in the Middle East. The championship logo, inspired by the shuttlecock and Bahraini wooden doors, reflects the nation’s culture. Bahrain’s strong record in para sports and its excellent organisation will make this global event a proud moment for the Kingdom.
