Kuwait Plans to Build the Tallest Building in the World, The Burj Mubarak

Dethroning Burj Khalifa?

Kuwait is set to be home to the “world’s tallest tower” – The Burj Mubarak! The one-kilometer tall tower will be the main attraction of Kuwait’s Madinat Al Hareer or Silk City which is reportedly expected to be completed by 2023! The Burj Mubarak will be constructed at the center of the city!

The Burj Mubarak megaproject is estimated to take about 25 years to be completed and will be made from three interlocking, twisting structures to protect it from 150 mph winds and resulting vibrations! This actually is something HUGE!

The Burj Mubarak will comprise of 234 floors, and will hold the capacity to accommodate 7,000 people! The tower will also consist of seven vertical villages which will include hotels, apartments, offices as well as entertainment amenities!
