We're Here For This: Women In The KSA Can Now Apply To Join The Military

All about opening doors and breaking boundaries

KSA’s Ministry of Defense announced that both men and women can apply for positions in the Military through their online portal. These positions are available in all subsidiaries of the military – including the Saudi Arabian Army, Royal Saudi Air Defence, Royal Saudi Navy, Royal Saudi Strategic Missile Force and Armed Forces Medical Services.

Women will be able to advance in the ranks as soldiers, lance corporals, corporals, sergeants, and staff sergeants.

This comes as a part of Saudi’s 2030 vision which aims, in part, to develop the country’s public sectors. Women between the ages of 21 and 40 can apply through the online portal. Applicants must be at least 155cm tall and cannot be government employees.
