HRH Princess Sabika Praises Bahraini Women for Their Strength During Ongoing Situation

In a deeply moving message of unity, Her Royal Highness Princess Sabika bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, has commended Bahraini women for their steadfast and pivotal contributions during current challenging circumstances. Describing women as the nation’s “primary pillars and the protective shield of the nation,” Her Royal Highness expressed deep pride in watching them navigate this decisive phase of the country’s journey. Princess Sabeeka highlighted their historically resilient character, noting that today’s women possess “the weapon of awareness,” much like their mothers carried the weapon of patience before them, describing today’s Bahraini women as a “solid front.”

The message lauded the unique sacrifices being made across various sectors, praising the ceaseless work and unflagging effort of women in medicine and nursing as “mercy walking on feet” and their vital role in education as the “minds that illuminate.” Crucially, Her Royal Highness emphasized their profound impact within their families, transforming homes into schools and raising generations who understand that patriotism “is not just a word said, but a covenant to be protected.” Princess Sabeeka affirmed that Bahraini women have proven themselves a strong, irreplaceable pillar for their country and expressed ultimate faith in their ability, and the nation’s, to overcome any ordeal through this shared commitment.
