The 35th Bahrain International Music Festival is coming up on October 2, bringing a packed lineup of concerts and performances throughout October and November. Organized by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, the festival will open with Bahraini artist Khalid Al Sheikh’s “Tathakkarni” concert at the Bahrain National Theatre. The festival will feature a mix of modern and traditional music, along with live performances at several venues, including Bahrain National Theatre, Terminal 4 by Beyon, the Cultural Hall, traditional houses and The Desert Garden.
The lineup includes well-known Bahraini and Gulf artists such as Khalid Al Sheikh, Ahmed Al Jumairi, Khalid Abdulrahman and Dr. Abadi Al Johar, as well as several Bahraini traditional music groups. The festival is also supported by the embassies of Italy, South Korea, Germany, France, China and India.
