Bahrain’s first world title!
Lesman Paredes secured our first world title bringing home a gold medal in the 2022 IWF World Championship. During the 96KG games, he snatched 176KG, 181KG, and 185KG. When all the men 96KG had already finished their competition. What a champ!

Paredes has been working hard to achieve his goals ever since he was a young boy, and it seems like his hard work is finally paying off! In addition to his recent victory at the 2022 IWF World Championship, he has also won medals at other events including the Asian Championship. The latter took place in Bahrain last October when he crushed and won the first gold medal ever for Bahrain as well!
