The Kingdom has an immense love for sports and you’ve surely witnessed that during many occasions. The pre COVID 19 times saw shisha cafes filled with football fans who would be cheering for their fave teams till the end of the match. Other than football, there is another sport that has Bahrain has gained international recognition for and is well loved and that is Mixed Martial Arts(MMA).
Under the patronage of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, is Bahrain’s number 1 MMA team, KHK MMA which raises champions on a regular basis. One champion, Ahmed Amir, will be competing in the upcoming Brave CF 41 against Cian Cowley from Ireland.
Bahrain’s Ahmed Amir will be competing in the super lightweight category on 17th September 2020.
