HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Nasser Centre for Science and Technology, attended the graduation ceremony of the Centre’s 9th batch of students — and it was a celebration of future talent in the making! 181 students graduated from specialised programmes in engineering, technological innovation, sports and business management, and for the first time ever — cybersecurity and professional football programme tracks were also introduced. Talk about keeping up with the future!
HH Shaikh Nasser praised the Centre for being a leading national model in preparing youth to take on tomorrow’s challenges. He emphasized that empowering young Bahrainis early on in future-focused fields is a national investment one that strengthens Bahrain’s position as a regional hub for innovation and development. He also highlighted how this vision is backed by strong government support under HRH Prince Salman ensuring that Bahrain’s youth are ready to compete and thrive in a fast-changing world.
Dr. Abdulla bin Naser Al Noaimi, CEO of the Centre, also shared how proud they are of this new graduating class. He said the Centre will continue to design training programmes that reflect global trends, with a focus on real-world skills, entrepreneurship, and innovation. With more local students gaining hands-on knowledge and future-ready skills, Bahrain is making big moves toward building a knowledge-based, youth-driven economy. And the Nasser Centre is right at the heart of that movement.
Proud!
