HRH Prince Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has officially arrived in Malaysia on behalf of HM King Hamad to lead Bahrain’s delegation at two major regional events the GCC-ASEAN Summit and the GCC-ASEAN-China Summit. These high-level meetings bring together leaders from the Gulf and Southeast Asia to discuss key areas of cooperation, including economic growth, investment opportunities, and regional stability. HRH Prince Salman’s participation reflects Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening ties with ASEAN countries and playing an active role in regional dialogue.
During his visit, HRH Prince Salman will also hold official talks with Malaysian leaders. The visit aims to explore new ways to enhance Bahraini-Malaysian relations and boost cooperation in areas such as trade, education, sustainability, and economic development. Both nations are looking to open new doors for joint initiatives that benefit their people and economies. Upon his arrival in Kuala Lumpur, HRH Prince Salman was warmly received by Malaysia’s Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Zambry Abdul Kadir.
Joining HRH Prince Salman is a high-level delegation from Bahrain that includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, the Minister of Sustainable Development, and other top officials. This visit is part of Bahrain’s broader efforts to strengthen international partnerships and expand its global presence. Through these summits and diplomatic meetings, HRH Prince Salman is reinforcing Bahrain’s role as a bridge between regions and a proactive contributor to global cooperation.
