In the presence of HH Sh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and the President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, along with His Highness Sheikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Deputy President of the Supreme Council for the Environment and Deputy President of the Higher Committee for Rashid Horse Racing Club, and a member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the first series of races for the third edition of the Bahrain International Horse Racing Championship took place yesterday. This cool event was organized by Rashid Horse Racing Club!
The race was attended by several members of the royal family, representatives of sponsoring entities, and a crowd of horse racing and equestrian sports enthusiasts.
The championship featured owners, trainers, and horses from various parts of the world! It comprises 10 stages to be held during the racing season on the track of Rashid Horse Racing Club.
The organization of the Bahrain International Horse Racing Championship follows the outstanding successes and positive gains achieved during the organization of the first two editions of the international champion! And this success is in addition to the remarkable success of the Bahrain International Cup for Horses, gaining international trust and reputation in the world of horse racing. It represents a qualitative leap in the Bahraini horse racing scene by attracting a group of high-rated international horses and the participation of owners, trainers, and riders from around the world, contributing to enhancing Bahrain’s position on the global map of horse racing.
The winners were awarded the race cups, with HH Sh Nasser, the leader of the Victorious team, receiving the International Muharraq Cup! From Mr. John Cheloum, the Chairman of the Texel Airlines Board of Directors.
