A Celebration of Culture and Community at Sheraton Bahrain Hotel

Sheraton Bahrain Hotel marked Bahrain’s National Day with a thoughtfully curated celebration that brought together culture, creativity, and community in one memorable afternoon. Held on December 16 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, the event welcomed associates, guests, and members of the local community to celebrate the Kingdom’s heritage in a warm and engaging setting. The celebration began outside the hotel entrance with a traditional Bahraini Ardha performance. The powerful rhythms and coordinated movements immediately set the tone, reflecting Bahrain’s deep rooted traditions and creating a strong sense of national pride among attendees.

Inside the lobby, guests gathered to watch a live painting performance by renowned Bahraini artist Abbas Al Mosawi. His creative process unfolded in real time, adding an interactive and artistic touch to the celebration. Alongside the live performance, a pop up art gallery showcased a curated selection of his artworks, many of which were previously displayed at the old Sheraton Bahrain Hotel, honouring the property’s long standing connection to local art and cultural expression.

The event continued with a National Day cake cutting ceremony in the lobby, bringing everyone together for a moment that symbolised unity and shared celebration. Through this National Day event, Sheraton Bahrain Hotel reaffirmed its commitment to supporting national occasions and strengthening community ties. By highlighting Bahraini traditions, local talent, and meaningful shared experiences, the hotel once again demonstrated its role as a gathering place that celebrates culture while creating lasting memories.
