This Bahraini Artist Will Take You Down the Memory Lane With Her Art Exhibition

A story through canvas

Art tells a story and is a beautiful way of expressing one’s self on a canvas. Ameena Al Aidi is doing exactly the same with her unique art pieces. Ameena Al Aidi is a Bahraini artist, and expressing her love for her country, she has put up a collection of oil paintings which will surely take you down the memory lane.

Her beautiful collection is called ‘Scent of the Past’ in which she has expressed her love for the kingdom’s rich heritage through her realism-inspired pieces. Her collection features 26 oil paintings which are inspired by the beautiful Bahraini heritage, from old houses, windows and doors, to souks, shops, dhows and the seashore, each of which will give you a glimpse of the simpler times.

‘Scent of the Past’, is currently being showcased at Bahrain Financial Harbour (BFH) on the ground floor of the Harbour Gate. The exhibition is planned to be up from the 15th of August 2021 till the 9th of September 2021. You can drop by at the ground floor of Harbour Gate to have a look.

 هذي الفنانة البحرينية بتاخذكم إلى زمن لول بمعرضها الفني

حكاية من خلال قطعة كانفس

الفن هو قصة وهو طريقة جميلة للتعبير عن الذات في لوحة. أمينة العايدي فنانة بحرينية، تعبر عن حبها لوطنها عبر قطعها الفنية الفريدة. وقد وضعت مجموعة من اللوحات الزيتية الي بتأخذكم بالتأكيد إلى خانة الذكريات.

“عبق الماضي” هو إسم مجموعتها حيث أعربت عن حبها لتراث مملكة البحرين الغني من خلال قطع مستوحاة من الواقع. تضم مجموعتها 26 لوحة زيتية مستوحاة من التراث البحريني الجميل، من المنازل القديمة والنوافذ والأبواب إلى الأسواق والمتاجر والمراكب الشراعية وشاطئ البحر، كل  لوحة منها ستعطيك لمحة عن أبسط الأشياء عن ذاك الوقت.

يتم عرض اللوحات حاليًا في مرفأ البحرين المالي (BFH) في الطابق الأرضي من بوابة المرفأ. من المقرر أن يستمر المعرض من 15 أغسطس 2021 حتى 9 سبتمبر 2021. يمكنكم زيارة الطابق الأرضي من Harbour Gate لإلقاء نظرة.
