1. Cocoa & Avocado

INGREDIENTS: 1/4 Avocado + 1 TBS Cocoa powder + 1 TSP Honey
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mash avocado and stir in cocoa powder and honey. Apply the mask to your skin for 15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and moisturize.
BENEFITS:
Avocado’s natural oils make it a deeply hydrating substance, having antioxidants like vitamins C and E, oleic acid and chlorophyll which help reduce fine lines, wrinkles, and redness. Cocoa is a strong antioxidant flavonoid that helps in fighting skin damage and increase blood flow to the skin. Honey has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, is a pore cleanser, natural hydrant and can cure acne.

3. Orange & Honey

INGREDIENTS: 2 TBS orange juice + 4 TBS honey
INSTRUCTIONS: Mix orange juice and honey together and lightly rub a generous layer on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse with warm water and moisturize.
BENEFITS: Oranges give dull skin a bright glow and the vitamin C works as a toner. The body converts beta carotene in oranges into vitamin A which protects the outer layer of skin, reducing breakouts. Honey’s antibacterial properties reduce inflammation of the skin, removes impurities and moisturizes.

4. Lemon & Honey

INGREDIENTS: 1/2 Lemon + 1 TBS Honey
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix the juice of a lemon with honey and apply a layer on the face. Wash with warm water after 25 minutes.
BENEFITS:
Lemons contain hydroxy acid which removes dead skin cells, clear blackheads, acne, and discoloration. This combination clears, moisturizes, soothes irritation, brightens and softens skin.

6. Turmeric & Honey

INGREDIENTS: 1 TSP Turmeric powder + 1 TBS Honey; Manuka if you have it.
INSTRUCTIONS: Mix the turmeric and honey to form a paste and apply it to your face especially your T-Zone. Keep on for 10-20 minutes. Wash off with warm water and finish off with a moisturizer.
BENEFITS:
Honey’s healing and antibacterial properties work well with Turmeric’s anti-inflammatory properties. This mask is a great cleanser that can fight off infection, irritation, blackheads and makes a great skin cleanser.

7. Turmeric & Yogurt

INGREDIENTS: 1 TBS plain yogurt + 1 TBS honey + 1 TBS turmeric powder
INSTRUCTIONS: Mix together the three ingredients and apply a generous layer to your face and neck. Let is sit for 20-30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and moisturize.
BENEFITS:
Yogurt’s probiotic properties cleanse and tighten the pores and the lactic acid soothes the skin, making it an anti-aging and anti-wrinkle ingredient. Combining honey and turmeric powder to yogurt boosts the cleansing and moisturizing benefits of the mask and is good to balance dry and oily skin.

8. Flaxseed & Yogurt

INGREDIENTS: 2 TBS yogurt + 1 TBS flaxseeds
INSTRUCTIONS: Grind (optional) flaxseeds. If you can’t that’s fine just combine flaxseeds and yogurt and let it sit for a few minutes to soak. Apply generously to face and neck for 25-30 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and moisturize.

Flaxseeds have an insane amount of benefits for the skin and hair. It’s high in antioxidants, fatty acids, phytochemicals and is anti-inflammatory. All these nutrients help to treat acne, exfoliates dead skin, and prevents skin from drying out and is antiaging. 9. Flaxseed gel & Oatmeal

INGREDIENTS:
For gel: 1/4 cup flaxseed + 2 cups water |
For mask: 1 TBS oatmeal + 1 TBS flaxseed gel
INSTRUCTIONS:
For gel: Bring water to a boil over stove-top, add flaxseed and stir occasionally until it forms a gel substance. Turn off heat and let it sit for 10 minutes. Once cooled down, pour it into cheesecloth or sieve and squeeze out gel into a bowl then transfer into an airtight container. Store in a fridge for longer keep.
For mask: mix gel and oatmeal together and apply the paste to your face. Leave it to dry and rinse off with warm water then apply moisturizer.

INGREDIENTS: 3 TBS flaxseed (or gel) + 1/4 cup yogurt + 1 TSP cinnamon + 1 TSP honey
INSTRUCTIONS: Mix all ingredients together and apply it to your face for 10-25 minutes. Rinse with warm water and moisturize.
BENEFITS:
Flaxseed’s anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory properties combined with honey’s antibacterial properties combined with yogurt’s probiotic properties provides the skin with all the winning benefits. 11. Avocado & Cucumber

INGREDIENTS: 1/2 avocado + 1/4 cucumber, blended
INSTRUCTIONS: Blend ingredients together or mash avocado with blended cucumber and apply to clean face. Leave on for 15-25 minutes. Rinse with warm water and moisturize.
BENEFITS:
A super cooling mask that’ll make you feel clean and fresh. The cucumber will hydrate the skin due to its high water content and vitamin C will reduce any breakouts and puffiness as well as open up pores and clean bacteria. 12. Ground Almonds & Olive Oil

INGREDIENTS: handful of almonds (ground) + 2 TBS olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS:
Grind up almonds and mix with olive oil. Apply a generous layer to face and leave on for 10-15 minutes then gently massage into skin. Wash off with warm water and moisturize.
BENEFITS:
Almonds contain fatty acids that get absorbed by the skin leaving it soft and plump. Olive oil contains vitamin E which moisturizes the skin and reduces dullness, dehydration, and fine lines. The combination cleans the skin from bacteria, dead cells, dirt and oil.
