Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al Manea, Undersecretary of The Ministry of Health, announced that 300 thousand additional doses are planned to be administered in the coming month. The undersecretary also stated that Bahrain will be receiving shipments from the manufacturers according to the distribution schedule.
Bahraini citizens and residents will be able to get vaccinated for free by signing up on the BeAware application or on Healthalert.gov.
So far, over 298 thousand people were vaccinated – which makes up around 17% of the population. The increased vaccination efforts in March is set to double that number!
