Bahrain News Agency just announced the approval of the emergency use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine in Bahrain. The vaccine is manufactured by the Serum Institute of India.
And it’s called Covishield
The vaccine is the third to be approved for use in Bahrain after Sinopharm and Pfizer. Covishield has around a 70% efficiency rate and minor side effects including headaches and injection site pain.
