Bahrain’s tourism scene is booming!
In the first half of this year, the number of inbound tourists increased by an impressive 51%, reaching 5.9 million visitors! This surge represents a significant increase from the 3.9 million visitors during the same period in 2022.
The Minister of Tourism and Chairperson of Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), Fatima Al Sairafi, expressed her optimism about achieving even greater milestones in the sector. The BTEA is well on its way to fulfilling the objectives outlined in the Tourism Strategy 2022–2026!
