The Ministry of Health just announced that the National Medical Taskforce has called for the extension of the closure period of many services in Bahrain, from Friday June 11th until Friday June 25th. This goes in line with the Kingdom’s efforts to reach the goals set to combat the virus.
According to the announcement, all malls, cinemas, gyms, salons, and dine-in restaurants will remain closed to the public, with services available for delivery and pick-up only. On another note, supermarkets, groceries, gas stations, private hospitals, and ATMS will still remain open.

خبر عاجل: تم تمديد التوجيهات المحددة للحد من الفيروس في البحرين حتى ٢٥ يونيو
أعلنت وزارة الصحة للتو أن الفريق الوطني الطبي قد دعا إلى تمديد فترة الإغلاق في البحرين، من يوم الجمعة الموافق ١١ يونيو وحتى يوم الجمعة الموافق ٢٥ يونيو. كما يتماشى ذلك مع الجهود التي تبذلها المملكة لتحقيق الأهداف المحددة لمكافحة الفيروس.
ووفقاً لما جاء في الإعلان، فإن جميع مراكز التسوق، ودور السينما، والصالات الرياضية، والصالونات، وحتى تناول الأكل في المطاعم سيظل مغلق. مع توفير الخدمات اللازمة للتوصيل والاستلام فقط. والاستمرار في فتح القطاعات الأساسية كالهايبر ماركت، والبرادات، ومحطات البنزين، والمستشفيات الخاصة، وخدمات الصرف الآلي أيضاً ستظل مفتوحة.
