Eid Is Coming Up & The MOH Has a Few Updates for Us to Keep in Mind

The Ministry of Health made some announcements last night, reiterating the guidelines it released a month ago pertaining to services that will now be limited to those who are vaccinated or recovered. It mentioned that they are set to go into place starting on the first day of the Eid al-Fitr holiday.

Here’s what things will look like:

Indoor services will be limited to vaccinated or recovered individuals, provided that citizens and residents of Bahrain have a visible green shield on the BeAware application. GCC nationals and residents will need to have a green vaccination logo within official COVID-19 applications. Similarly, visitors will have to show an acceptance card of certified vaccination, which is provided when arriving into the Kingdom as proof of vaccination.

Keep in mind, anyone below the age of 18 will be able to access indoor services with a vaccinated or recovered adult.

Services that are available for vaccinated or recovered individuals include: indoor dining at restaurants or cafes, indoor gyms, spas and pools, attending indoor and outdoor sports events or general events, exhibitions and conferences.

The same goes for indoor and outdoor entertainment & game centers, along with indoor cinemas – which are set to open back up starting on Eid al-Fitr. All the same outdoor services will still be open for all individuals to enjoy.

Stay safe & Eid Mubarak in advance!
