October 1st every year is celebrated worldwide as International Coffee Day. And this year you can get some free coffee in Bahrain too. The Women Across association is an organization in Bahrain that supports women empowerment across various fields.
According to their project coordinator, Anupama Binu, they wanted to create a light activity for coffee lovers and photography freaks. All they have to do is upload an image of themselves with coffee and tag themselves on Instagram with @womenacross or @wisbahrain on Facebook. The contest will run until October 2 at midnight. It will also fall on World Smile Day.
This isn’t the first competition or initiative by Women Across either. They’ve previously held health camps, community kitchens, and other competitions across Bahrain.

يتم الاحتفال في الأول من أكتوبر من كل عام في جميع أنحاء العالم باليوم العالمي للقهوة. و هالعام يمكنكم الحصول على بعض القهوة المجانية في البحرين. جمعية Women Across هي منظمة في البحرين تدعم تمكين المرأة في مختلف المجالات.
وفقًا لمنسقين المشروع، Anupama Binu ، فكرة المبادرة هي إنشاء نشاط خفيف لمحبي القهوة ومحبى التصوير الفوتوغرافي. كل ما يتعين عليهم فعله هو تحميل صورة لأنفسهم مع القهوة ووضع علامة على أنفسهم على Instagram باستخدامwomenacross أوwisbahrain على Facebook. تستمر المسابقة حتى منتصف الليل 2 أكتوبر الذي سيصادف أيضًا يوم الابتسامة العالمي.
لا تعتبر أول مسابقة أو مبادرة من قبل Women Across على فكرة. سبق لهم أن أقاموا معسكرات صحية ومطابخ مجتمعية ومسابقات أخرى في جميع أنحاء البحرين.
