Caring for our environment
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, it was revealed that Bahrain will be banning the manufacture, import and trade of plastic water bottles that hold less than 200ml. While the country will still be making them for export use, the tiny bottles will no longer be seen or used within Bahrain by January 2022. What a cool initiative to make sure we waste less and stay kinder to our planet!
Of course, we’d recommend buying a reusable water bottle anyway – stay cost efficient, hygienic, and save the planet while you’re at it!

بدءاً من يناير 2022: البحرين تحظر بيع زجاجات الماء البلاستيكية الصغيرة
وفي بيان صادر عن وزارة الصناعة والتجارة والسياحة، تبين أن البحرين ستحظر تصنيع واستيراد وتجارة زجاجات الماء البلاستيكية التي تقل حمولتها عن 200 مل. في حين أن البلاد ستظل تصنعها للاستخدام في التصدير، فإن الزجاجات الصغيرة لن تكون متاحة ولن تستخدم داخل البحرين بحلول يناير 2022. يا لها من مبادرة رائعة للتأكد من أن إهدار النفايات سيصبح أقل وسنكون أكثر لطفاء مع البيئة.
كما ننصحكم بشراء زجاجات الماء القابلة لإعادة الاستخدام للحفاظ على البيئة.
