Get ready to cheer, Bahrain! His Excellency Sh. Khalifa bin Duaij Al Khalifa has just been awarded an honorary doctorate by the prestigious University of Salford in the UK!
Sh. Khalifa is a true icon in our community, having served in many important positions, including as an advisor to the Crown Prince and a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait. And let’s not forget his impressive academic achievements – he’s a graduate of Sandhurst Military College, Johns Hopkins University, Georgetown University, and the American University of Washington, with a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Social Policy under his belt!
In his acceptance speech, Sh. Khalifa expressed his gratitude for the honor and made it clear that he’s committed to supporting higher education in Bahrain. He knows that education is key to driving social progress and economic development, and he wants to make sure that all Bahrainis have access to the best education possible.
We couldn’t be more proud of his excellency Sh. Khalifa and all that he’s accomplished. The award ceremony at the University of Salford was a glamorous affair, with dignitaries from all over the world in attendance, including the Bahraini Ambassador to the UK.
